Worship:

There are four opportunities each week to worship at St. John’s. Worship is at the heart of what it means to be an Anglican. Our worship is “common prayer”. We use set liturgical texts and an ordered set of scripture readings. This frees us from dependence upon the interests and/or personality of those leading worship and allows us to reflect on all the themes of the good news of Jesus Christ, the love of God and the activity of the Holy Spirit. Anglican worship may be plain or elaborate–traditional or “contemporary” or a blend– but it is always Biblical, Trinitarian and Sacramental.
