The Anglican way

Different Terms for our principal form of worship

Tuesday, November 20th, 2007

Anglican worship is “common prayer”. We use set liturgical texts and an ordered set of scripture readings which allow us to reflect on all the themes of the good news of Jesus Christ, the love of God and the activity of the Holy Spirit. Anglican worship may be plain or elaborate — traditional or “contemporary” or a blend — but it is always Biblical, Trinitarian and Sacramental.
